  • Parents Dropping Students Off:
    Parents must pull into a parking spot to drop off and also pick up their student; Cal Poly police can ticket drivers that do not follow this policy. Students may be dropped off/picked up on the west side of the school building only. Drivers should follow the traffic circulation map below.

    Student Drivers and Parking Permits:
    Students that drive are required to display a valid parking permit to avoid citation. Daily parking permits may be purchased at vending machines in university parking lots. Discounted semester-long parking permits may be purchased through Cal Poly's Parking and Transportation Department at:

    Ride Share:
    In addition to ride share options such as Uber and Lyft, HopSkipDrive is a parent-run ride share program. Drivers are screened and authorized to drive students. Each ride is monitored in real time.
