    Updated Remote Admissions Process

IPoly is a specialized public college prep high school located on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. IPoly's award-winning program centers around innovative Project-Based Learning (PBL). Run by Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), IPoly has been open since 1993.

With only 500 students, IPoly provides a family-like environment. Students are given support and guidance to get into their college of choice. They are also encouraged to take concurrent college courses at Cal Poly and community colleges while in high school. IPoly students become global citizens, contributing to society through required community service hours.

How to Apply

  • Applications are currently available for students that would like to attend during the 2019-20 school year. Spaces are available at each grade level. Applications for the 2020-21 school year will be released at IPoly's Recruitment Open House on October 17, 2019 from 6:30-8:30pm.

IPoly is open to students regardless of district of residence, and does not charge tuition. The admissions process includes completing an application, passing an entrance exam and being selected by lottery. There are 136 spaces available per grade level. Once the lottery passes, applications continue to be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
